Watch Nailed It! Mexico: Now streaming on Netflix
By Sandy C.
We can never have too many cooking competition shows, so we’re happy to welcome another one — Nailed It! Mexico is now streaming on Netflix.
The streaming giant has been making big moves towards including more reality shows in their programming. Not that we’re complaining! From Queer Eye to numerous crime documentaries. Now, the latest is Nailed It! Mexico, a cooking competition series.
From Netflix, the synopsis for Nailed It! Mexico is: “Hosted by Omar Chaparro and head judge Anna Ruiz, home bakers in Mexico with a terrible track record take a shot at recreating edible masterpieces for a $10,000 prize. It’s part competition, part hot mess.”

Nailed It! is already a known series, Nailed It! Mexico is a spin-off featuring Mexican contestants. The show is in Spanish, but features subtitles. Hey, if you need to freshen up on your Spanish, this is a hilariously fun way to practice.

The series promises laughs, cake, and drama. From the looks of it, though, it’s really mostly laughs. With the tagline “intention is what matters,” it’s obvious these “chefs” are not at all professional. They’re really just winging it, and it shows. It reminds me of the last time I attempted to fix a cake only to make it so much worse.
What has been your worst cooking experience? It can’t possibly top what these contestants are about to go through!
Contestants give it their best shot (under extreme pressure) to recreate a masterpiece. The winner takes home $200,000 Mexican pesos, which is right around $10 thousand dollars. Not bad!
