Guy Fieri is creating a new chain, and he wants it to be ‘big’

TV chef superstar Guy Fieri has his eye not just on entering the fast food business but dominating the industry. Can he succeed?

The mayor of “Flavortown, Guy Fieri, wants to become the governor of “Fast Food Town.”

Teaming up with Robert Earl, the man who brought the world Planet Hollywood, Fieri has plans to jump head-first into the fast food industry with his own chain of flavorful restaurants.

Called Chicken Guy!, Fieri already has a couple locations open in Florida, one at Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs district that opened in last August, and a second coming soon in Miami. Those two locations are prime testing grounds to see if Chicken Guy! can become a success.

So far, it looks like it can.

Chicken Guy! is not like the traditional fast food chains that we have grown to love (and hate at times). This new chain will be mirrored in the same image as Fier and Earl’s fast casual experience. The chicken will be fresh and never frozen, and will also be the best chicken quality around.

What Chicken Guy! will be a hit at though is in their sauce game, which will be 22  sauces deep. According to an article on SF Gate, not only will Chicken Guy! have the usual suspects, but they will also offer more exotic sauces to go with that chicken.

Sauces such as avocado crema and Nashville hot honey, two sauces that will get me to go I’m sure.

Fieri has big things in store for Chicken Guy! This is not a pet project for him, but a chain that he believes can be big within the fast food world. Will he succeed? Only time will tell.
