Chipotle is usually the place to go to on cheat-days, but did you know it can also be very healthy?
When I go to a Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant, 9 times out of 10 I get the steak bowl with all the yum and unhealthy toppings you can think of. Chipotle’s bowls are very popular and their famous zesty chips are addicting! Though their queso dip is forgettable at best, Chipotle more than makes up for it with their many bowl options and great kid meal prices.
On top of all this, did you know Chipotle also has options for the healthy folks who don’t want to sacrifice flavor to eat a good meal? It’s true! Whether you are still keeping up with your New Year’s resolution (probably too late for that, though) or just want to stay healthy, here are three of the healthiest meals at Chipotle…
Recently, Chipotle rolled out two “Plant-Powered” bowls, one is vegan and the other vegetarian.

The vegan option of the Plant-Powered bowls includes sofritas, white rice, black beans, and lettuce. The vegetarian bowl is packed with veggies, guacamole, pinto beans, and white rice.
Not willing to sacrifice meat? You don’t have to (and we don’t blame you for not wanting to! You can still get chicken, steak, or another meat of your choice. To make it healthy, simply avoid dairy (such as sour cream and cheese), don’t get any dressing, and, unfortunately, skip the chips.
Finally, did you know you can order a salad? Simply substitute it for the rice as the base of your bowl. As for your drink, just a water, of course.
