McDonald’s to change their menu as of April 30

In a move to speed up customer service and reduce food waste. Fast food giants McDonald’s are set to change their menu as of April 30, 2019.

Frequent visitors to McDonald’s in the early hours of the morning should brace themselves. Changes to the regular menu are to take place on April 30, 2019.

This is in an effort to make things better for the customer by offering a more simplified and faster service. McDonald’s plans to do this by stripping the midnight menu back to classic menu items only.

According to Brand Eating, the menu takes effect as of midnight and runs right through until the breakfast menu begins at 5 am. At the moment, anyone who visits the fast food chain during these hours can expect to order anything from the menu; as if visiting during regular hours of the day.

However, as of April 30, menu items such as chicken sandwiches, Filet-O-Fish, premium salads, and Signature Crafted Recipe menu items will no longer be available. The McDonald’s menu will be stripped back to the following:

  • McCafe and beverages
  • Fries and all other sides
  • Happy Meal
  • Big Mac
  • Quarter Pounder
  • Chicken McNuggets
  • All Day Breakfast

As you can see, this is your more popular and easier to make menu items offered by McDonald’s. With the early hours being a much quieter time of the day for the fast food chain; adopting these changes means less food waste is to be had, along with still being able to provide customers with hot, fresh and tasty food.
