Burger King testing new Honey Hot Chicken Sandwich in Ohio
By Kareem Gantt
Burger King is upping its chicken sandwich game by testing out the new Honey Hot Chicken Sandwich in the most fertile of test markets — Ohio.
Burger King has chosen a fertile place to test out the hotness of their new Honey Hot Chicken Sandwich — Ohio.
That’s right, the Buckeye State has the fortune of being Burger King’s guinea pig when it comes to the new chicken sandwich, which will feature not one, but two layers of Honey Hot Sauce, making it a virtual guarantee that Burger King will be top-of-the-class when it comes to sloppiness and messiness.
Along with all of that gooey hot sauce, the Honey Hot Chicken Sandwich will also be topped with thick-cut bacon, onion, and pickles on top of the white meat chicken filet served in-between two toasted potato buns.

I don’t know about you, but this sandwich is saying all of the right things in my ear, but since I don’t live in Ohio, I can’t try it yet, and I’m not making a special trip to Ohio for a Burger King sandwich. Sorry, not sorry.
However, if you’re already in the Buckeye State and this sandwich is spitting love jams in your ear as well, head to the town of Boardman, which sits just south of Youngstown. It’s actually kind of nice that Burger King chooses the Youngstown-area as the test market, because Lord knows, the Mahoning Valley (the region Youngstown anchors) needs all the good-mojo it can get right now.
The Honey Hot Chicken Sandwich is selling for $5.49 each, which, we admit, is pretty steep; but, that price is worth it to have the exclusive experience of trying to eat this thing while driving, and coating your steering wheel in honey hot sauce.
We don’t know exactly which Boardman Burger King the Honey Hot Sandwich is being sold at, so, being the nice foodies we are at Guilty Eats, click here to find the two Boardman locations.
Have you tried the new Honey Hot Chicken Sandwich? If so, let us know how it tasted, and maybe this author will by a bus ticket to Ohio to try it out.
