Fast Food restaurants open on Easter Monday 2019
By Sandy C.
It’s Easter Monday! If you’re wondering where to stop by for your favorite burger (or tacos) today, you’ve come to the right place.
Which restaurants and fast food places are open for business today, Easter Monday, April 22? We’ve got answers! With the Easter festivities now over, it’s time to dive into the week. But not so fast! There’s one more holiday remaining — Easter Monday.
Most of you may not celebrate Easter Monday. The week resumes as normal today, which means we all go back to work unless we previously requested the day off. However, school is not in session. So, expect to see a lot of people (kids, mostly) out and about today in stores and parks.
With schools closed, does this also mean a lot of businesses (fast food, in particular) are also closed? Will you still be able to stop by your favorite fast food location for breakfast, brunch, and dinner? The short answer is, yes!

Sure, some restaurants are franchises, which means they make up their own rules and may have different hours of operation. However, for the most part, while school districts take a break, Easter Monday isn’t a popular enough holiday to close the doors of restaurants.
Let’s see if your favorite location is open today!
Below, we’ll list the most popular fast food joints and restaurants that are open for you to come in today. Remember that hours may vary per location:
Chick-fil-A, On the Border, Chilis, Denny’s and IHOP. Fun fact, IHOP is open 24/7, no exception, so you know you can always rely on that. Fast food restaurants open include Dunkin’, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, and Sonic Drive-In. Basically, all major fast food companies and restaurants.
Those are all the most popular locations we can think of at the moment, but, as we said, most locations (both fast food and restaurants) should operate as usual today.
