Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Nuggets are back, thanks to Chance the Rapper

Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Nuggets have sadly been gone for two years, but thanks to Chance the Rapper, they are back on the menu.
It’s been two years since Wendy’s pulled their Spicy Chicken Nuggets off the menu, and we’ve all been in a depressed funk ever since. Thanks to Chance the Rapper, our dark, rainy cloud may finally dissipate.
Writing on his Twitter page, he gave his “Positive Affirmations” for the day, and one of those affirmations was for Wendy’s to bring back the Spicy Chicken Nugget’s “at some point please.”
This wasn’t some one-off promotion either like he is sending a ton of positive vibes to the Fast Food Lords, hoping and praying that they hear his calls.
We guess he has a private line to those Gods, as Wendy’s responded with a tweet of their own:
Positive Affirmations for today: I WILL have a good day, I Will succeed today, Wendy’s WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please please Lord let it be today.

Yes, we have been begging and pleading, one our knees in the pouring rain, for God’s sakes, that Wendy’s would reverse the terrible judgment they passed on the Spicy Chicken Nuggets two-years ago and let it grace their menu board once again for us all to enjoy.

So, they tweeted that if the tweet got two million likes, Spicy Chicken Nuggets would be back.
It passed it within a day-and-a-half.
At 12:58 AM this morning, with us all blurry eyed and anxious, Wendy’s made it official:

Yes, this is, indeed, not a drill. That spicy goodness that has eluded us for the past two years is finally coming back, all thanks to the hard work of its fans and Chance the Rapper’s positive affirmations. There is currently no word on when the Spicy Chicken Nuggets will re-appear on the menu, but trust us, we will be doing the same thing that we’ve done for the past two years — wait.
