McDonald’s is adding four international menu items to its US menu
By Sandy C.
Each McDonald’s franchise is different, especially when in another country, but now the fast food joint is sharing four popular international items with us all!
While McDonald’s does have their classic cheeseburgers and Big Macs, each franchise adds their own menu items that they don’t share with others. This is especially true for international locations. Now, you don’t need to travel to get a taste of what others around the globe are loving at McDonald’s, because the fast food restaurants in the US are bringing the flavors to us.
Which items are coming to the US and where can you find them? We’ve got all you need to know, below!
First up is the Stroopwafel McFlurry coming in from the Netherlands, a Dutch dessert made with waffles and a layer of caramel. From Spain, we’ll be enjoying the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger, the name speaks for itself.

The two other items are the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich from Canada and the Cheesy Bacon Fries from Australia. Is anyone else’s mouth also watering? I don’t even know where to begin!
If I had to pick just one, I’m running to get a Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich, and who would have ever guessed this menu item would be coming from Canada? Second, I’m intrigued by the Cheesy Bacon Fries. I mean, sure, we have our own version of cheesy bacon fries here, but I have a feeling Australia knows what it’s doing more than we do.
When and where can you enjoy these? All four items are set to make their debut in June. We’re still not sure if these will all be available in all locations or select only. We’ll keep you posted.
