But that’s not all! While you may want to go out and get one today, waiting might save you a few bucks. On June 22, you can try either new flavor for free! These new flavors and the deal are all a reward after fans made sure Krispy Kreme gave away one million doughnuts on National Doughnut Day. Good job, team!

Krispy Kreme launched (no pun intended) these new doughnuts into the world via their Twitter account Monday morning.

According to the Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme, Dave Skena,  the doughnut shop was at the liftoff during this important moment in American history.

“Krispy Kreme was at the launch of Apollo 11, serving fresh doughnuts to Americans witnessing liftoff of this monumental mission. As America prepares to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, we want to give our fans a new taste experience that is out of this world. ”
