Wendy’s is bringing back the spicy fan favorite we’ve all been waiting for

Prepare to have your spicy taste buds put to the test by the one and only Wendy’s. The fast food chain is bringing back a fan favorite that is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Haha! We did it my fellow Wendy’s fans. After several months of campaigning, the fast food chain is bringing back the ultimate chicken nugget menu item, Spicy Chicken Nuggets!

That’s right, Spicy Chicken Nuggets are coming back to the menu as of August 19. Wendy’s themselves made this announcement, so this no rumor either. They’re coming back for sure.

This has been an amazing story to follow. If you are not familiar with the Spicy Chicken Nugget story, it all started out, way back in 2017. On a very dark and miserable day that year, Wendy’s decided to stop producing Spicy Chicken Nuggets.

Nobody knew what to do with themselves, everyone was at a loss, and until March this year we just accepted it as is.

However, Chance The Rapper, had other plans. Sharing via his official Twitter account, he made the claim that if his Tweet got to over 2 million likes, Wendy’s would bring back Spicy Chicken Nuggets.

Unsurprisingly, because we are all completely nuts for the fast food menu item, the tweet did indeed hit the 2 million likes. In fact, it went above and beyond.

Amazingly, Wendy’s stayed true to their word and announced at the beginning of May that Spicy Chicken Nuggets would be coming back. We didn’t get an exact time frame until yesterday however, which has bee set for August 19.

So, set your alarm, calendar, whatever it might be. Because before you know it, you will be able to taste the sweet sweet taste of Spicy Chicken Nuggets from Wendy’s once more.
