Elysian Brewing is honoring the moon landing with a special redesign of their bottles

The 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon is on July 20. And in honor of this occasion, Elysian Brewing is doing a special redesign of their bottles.

Elysian Brewing might be based in Seattle, but this particular brewery is known for more than just their location. Here is a company that is known for their amazing craft beers (and there are plenty to choose from). In fact, while they have only been around since 1996, they have actually offered more than 350 different craft beers to date. And it is with this in mind, that we turn to them for something special in honor of the Apollo 11 mission.

According to a press release from Elysian Brewing, the company is honoring the moon landing‘s 50th anniversary with a very special release. Not only are they offering a special six-pack of their Space Dust IPA, but the bottles will be getting a gorgeous makeover featuring three labels that honor each phase of this landmark mission.

Not only will there be a label that specifically shows off the actual moon landing, but a second label will show an image of Lift-off, while the third pays tribute to the epic return. These retro style bottles will only be available for a limited time (although their Space Dust IPA is a year-long offering), starting at the beginning of July.

However, it is not just the special redesign that fans of Elysian Brewing have to look forward to. There is also a special partnership taking place between the brewing company and the Museum of Flight to honor the anniversary. The museum and Elysian Brewing are hosting a Lunar Block Party, where space lovers will have the opportunity to visit the Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission exhibit.

From the label redesign to the block party, it is clear that Elysian Brewing is here to pay tribute to the lunar landing and its impressive history. And we can’t wait to get our hands on these redesigned bottles, because these labels are both stunning and even nostalgic.
