Chick-fil-A to give out free food today for cow appreciation day
By Callum Gunn
Chick-fil-A is encouraging fans to appreciate the cow on this cow appreciation day by visiting the fast food chain for some free chicken.
You’ve got to hand it to Chick-fil-A, they really do love the cow. They encourage us to respect it, worship it, the fast food chain even made the cow their official mascot. So it’s not a huge surprise they are encouraging us to appreciate the fun loving farm animal this cow appreciation day.
Just in case you had never heard of cow appreciation day before, because to be fair, I had never heard of it either until Chick-fil-A had encouraged me to celebrate it, the day is this July 9 and it is not the first year the fast food chain has paid homage to their mascot.

And how does the fast food chain go about celebrating cow appreciation day? By giving out free chicken of course.
It’s exactly what they did last year, where it is reportedly over 2 million fans took part in the very special day, and it is expected to be just as popular this year as well.
However, there is a small catch. You need to be dressed appropriately. What classes as appropriate dress I hear you say? Well, arriving in store dressed as a cow of course.
It is being reported that in order for fans to receive free chicken from Chick-fil-A they will have to arrive in store in a cow outfit. This was not something everyone had to adhere to last year and it will be interesting to see if Chick-fil-A holds fans to the this requirement today.

But if you really do want that free chicken, it may be wise to have a cow outfit stuffed in your bag somewhere.
