Shark Week and Food Network team up for the ultimate shark-inspired recipes
By Callum Gunn
Shark Week is almost here and it’s time to throw the perfect party. Food Network is teaming up with Discovery to bring you the perfect shark-inspired recipes.
Discovery’s annual Shark Week is almost here for its 31st year. Things are bigger than ever, with even the Food Network getting involved. It’s time to throw an epic party with a range of underwater-inspired treats and recipes.
Shark Week is TV’s longest-running summer event, and that’s certainly something Discovery should be proud about. Every week, millions of people around the world tune in for the episodes, learning more about the great animals and how to protect them. The more we understand, the safer we can be for them and us.

One of my favorites has to be turning the watermelon into a shark and using other fruits to create the starfish and other underwater creatures. If you want something quick and simple, you can make Shark Banana Pops.
Looking for something that’s full of calories and you just don’t care? You can make your own Shark Bait or even try cupcakes covered in a Jaws-inspired beach. Something fun to make with the kids would be Shark Quesadillas.
