Chick-fil-A is third highest-selling chain, sells more than McDonald’s

According to a recent report, Chick-fil-A is the third highest-selling fast food chain, but averages over twice as much in sales than McDonald’s.

The Take Out always surfaces tasty finds and foodie reports! Their latest is blowing our minds — Chick-fil-A could take over the world of the fast food industry, if it wanted to. According to the latest report from Business Insider, Chick-fil-A restaurants “generate more than double the revenue of McDonald’s restaurants.”

Yes, you read that correctly, more than double! This data is true, but based on single-location sales, not the complete total. To put it simply, this means, that, if Chick-fil-A and McDonald’s had the same number of locations, Chick-fil-A would rule the fast food world. But, since there are countless McDonald’s locations, Ronald McDonald brings home more money. Three times as much, to be exact.

This is even more amazing when you realize that Chick-fil-A isn’t even open 24 hours a day, like most McDonald’s locations are. In fact, all stores are closed on Sundays. Can you imagine if they decided to open their doors 7 days a week?

Chick-fil-A isn’t changing their hours of operation, though, they truly don’t need to. The fast food chain is doing just fine and, despite controversy in the past, it’s here to stay and remains a favorite!

At the moment, Chick-fil-A is the third highest-selling chain. It is only behind Starbucks (No. 2) and McDonald’s (No. 1), and it may surpass Starbucks by the way things are going. At No. 4 is Subway, No. 5 is Taco Bell and No. 6 Burger King! For all 200, visit Nation’s Restaurant News.
