Chocolate and Raspberry meet in new Elysian Brewing’s Raspy Whisper
If you love both chocolate and raspberry, then you need to try the newest creation from Elysian Brewing – the Raspy Whisper.
Are you a fan of chocolate and raspberry? Do you like grabbing a beer with a lower ABV? Then Elysian Brewing has you covered with their newest creation, the Raspy Whisper.
In honor of the end of Summer, the Seattle-based brewery has decided to treat customers with the kind of beer that is a true indulgence. At just 3.6 percent ABV, this brew features the flavors of chocolate and raspberry, for a drink that is both sweet and lightly acidic in all the best ways.
Considering Elysian Brewing is using 20 pounds of raspberries per barrel of Raspy Whisper, it makes sense that not only does each sip give you the aroma of this delicious berry, but you also get those hints of flavor that will have you wanting more. But of course, this is not just about the raspberries, as there is the chocolate to consider as well. We are talking about the five pounds of chocolate nibs per barrel that gives this beer its rich dark chocolatey flavor.

Not only do you get a beer that is the best of chocolate and raspberry in a low ABV brew, but the Raspy Whisper comes in a gorgeous can that is inspired by its flavor profile. From the raspberry tones of the cans, to the drips down the side that are inspired by melted chocolate, every sip of Raspy Whisper is truly inspired.
Considering the current trend of beer drinkers reaching for both low ABV brews, as well as beers with a touch of fruit, it makes sense that Elysian Brewing would craft this new raspberry chocolate gose as a way to finish summer off on the perfect note.
Raspy Whisper is all about the big flavors and the ability to be innovative. And this truly is an inspired brew that sounds like dessert in a can, which we can certainly get behind.
The addition of fruit to different beers seems to be something that continues to grow in popularity and we are loving every second of it. There is something delicious and even mouth-watering about indulging in a brew that brings the sweetness of fruit, as well as the acidity and unique flavors.
We are all about combining chocolate and raspberry. And now that there is a beer that does it for us, we are all about snagging a few cans of this brew for ourselves.
