Milky Way is introducing a Salted Caramel bar in time for Halloween

Just in time for Halloween, Milky Way is introducing their latest delicious creation – the Salted Caramel bar. And yes you’ll want to Trick or Treat for this.

On Instagram, Milky Way revealed that they were introducing a brand new flavor of their iconic candy bar. Fans of Salted Caramel can rejoice, as they get the best of both worlds with this new treat. However, there is a bit of sad news for those of us looking to snag full size Milky Way Salted Caramel bars, as they won’t be released until 2020.

But, if you are in the mood for a bit of Trick or Treating this Halloween, you may just be able to snag a snack size mini of this new bar anyway. According to PopSugar, although the regular size candy bar of the Salted Caramel will not be in stores until sometime next year, select Walmart locations will have bite-size bars available this year.

Sadly, we don’t know much about the new Salted Caramel Milky Way bars. While we know what the flavor is, roughly when we can expect to see it in stores, and that the packaging will be a gorgeous blue-green, that is all we really know about this new candy bar.

This means that we don’t know if the salt will be sprinkled on the chocolate coating of the bars or under a layer of chocolate. Perhaps the salt will be mixed into the caramel itself. No matter how it is incorporated, we can’t wait, as Salted Caramel anything is a delicious treat.

Any time we can combine sweet and salty, we are sold. And the fact that this is coming from Milky Way, who already knows how to make a stunning caramel candy bar enrobed in chocolate, means we have high hopes for this product.

While we have to wait to learn more about this particular chocolate bar, at least we know that this Fall it is all about hitting up Walmart for our Halloween candy offerings. And if the Milky Way Salted Caramel bars don’t make it into the Trick or Treaters candy, well we aren’t telling anyone.
