Are you looking to jazz up your Caramel Apple Spice this Fall? If the answer is yes, then Starbucks has a suggestion for you that’s right off the secret menu.

There are some drinks that scream Fall and cooler weather. Whether we are talking about the Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks or a crisp, warm cup of apple cider, these drinks instantly make us think of falling leaves and even Halloween. And now we can combine both of these flavors thanks to a secret menu hack that Starbucks themselves shared with the world.

As part of a blog post the coffee chain shared with their followers, Starbucks unveiled their own tips and tricks for jazzing up your current favorite beverages. And while we often think of the secret menu as being creations from customers, often times those drink recipes came from the baristas and chain itself.

And now they have revealed how they would jazz up their seasonal Caramel Apple Spice to make it even more Fall friendly. If you happen to love pumpkin then this is the drink for you.

Next time you order yourself a Caramel Apple Spice, ask the barista to add in two pumps of the pumpkin sauce that they typically use in the PSL. Or, if you don’t want your beverage to be too sweet (it really won’t be, but we understand not wanting to go overboard with syrup), Delish points out that you can always swap out two of the pumps of syrup already in the drink.

Considering there are said to be four pumps of cinnamon syrup in the Caramel Apple Spice (it seems this is for the Grande size, but you may want to confirm with the barista first), you can always opt for two pumps of pumpkin syrup and two pumps of the cinnamon. This basically means going half and half on the drink, which will still give you all the flavors of a Caramel Apple Pumpkin Spice, but without the cloying sweetness of too much syrup.

As a major fan of the Caramel Apple Spice, I can’t wait to give this secret menu hack a try, especially since it was actually recommended by Starbucks themselves. Not only does this seem like the perfect drink to warm up with on a cold day, but if you top it with whipped cream and caramel drizzle it becomes almost dessert like.
