Oddly Satisfying: Reese’s Take 5 is the perfect combination of two candy bars in one
There are a lot of candy bars on the market. And while there are some obvious choices for favorites, the Reese’s Take 5 is an oddly satisfying sweet treat.
When it comes to favorite chocolate treats, Reese’s usually comes in at the top of our lists. And when you combine that flavor with other sweet treats, you end up with more perfection. Thanks to the Reese’s Take 5, we have a chocolate bar that is not only oddly satisfying, but also surprisingly perfect for satisfying our sweet cravings.
In June 2019, we learned from the Candy Industry that Reese’s had taken over the sadly discontinued Take 5 bar, giving the underrated treat new life. And now, thanks to the decision to finally reveal the truth about the Take 5 bar (that it was always made with Reese’s peanut butter), it seems that this oddly satisfying treat has finally been given the love it deserves.
As a longtime fan of the Take 5 Bar, I have always appreciated the way this candy bar feels like a blend of two different candy bars into one perfect bite. And as the Reese’s Take 5, this candy bar is just as perfect as it has always been.

Not only is every bite perfection, but there is something satisfying about biting into a candy bar that delivers chocolate, peanut butter, peanuts, pretzels, and caramel. Every bar of Reese’s Take 5 is like a complete meal, and the fact that it is sweet and salty makes it all the more amazing. We are talking about a delicious chocolate bar that is satisfaction guaranteed in every bite.
While all of these flavors combined might seem like they would be too much, somehow Reese’s was able to make it work. And that’s what matters. After all, this is one candy bar that borders on being a meal replacement. Plus, the fact that we can snag it in a King Size makes it even more satisfying for those of us looking to really indulge in a sweet treat.
All things considered, Reese’s Take 5 is a near perfect treat that satisfies not only our sweet tooth, but also our desire for a bit of salty in each bite. And if that doesn’t make it an oddly satisfying treat, I don’t know what will.
