Baby Yoda cookie baking hacks are everywhere and pretty easy to do at home

With the Baby Yoda craze in full swing, some savvy bakers have figured out how to create their own Yoda cookies at home. And yes, it involves and angel.

If you haven’t already gotten swept up into the Baby Yoda frenzy, then this might do it. Fans of “The Child” who looks just like Yoda have found a way to make cookies that resemble this surprise star of The Mandalorian. And while it requires beheading some angels, it is still totally worth it.

A new baking hack making the rounds on social media has home bakers using their Christmas cookie cutters in an all new way. All it takes is a rolled out sheet of cookie dough, an angel cookie cutter, and a knife. (Some bakers have gone as far as to reshape their angels to make a permanent Baby Yoda cookie cutter, but that seems like a lot of work, plus then you need a new angel cookie cutter.)

In a post from Mashable, they share this baking hack in an easy to follow manner that has definitely inspired us to share the news. And it really is as simple as using the angel cookie cutter to cut our angels and then cutting off the head. If you can’t handle doing the dirty work of lopping off the head, you can always do what the Mashable author did and get someone else to do it for you.

Honestly, once you have the Baby Yoda shape cut out, it is all about baking up these cookies and then using the right colors of icing to get the right look for these sweet treats. All you need for the decorating stage is green, brown, white, and black icing. The green is for the head and ears of Baby Yoda, the light brown and white creates his robes, and then the black is for the eyes.

It’s honestly one of the easiest baking hacks I have seen in a long time and the tricky part is going to be decorating the cookie so it really does look like Baby Yoda. But if you have the time, patience, and steady hand needed, you are going to be the winner of best home baker among your Star Wars loving friends.

Seriously, this is my favorite cookie hack yet and I can’t wait to try it for myself. So it is time for a little Queen of Hearts action and “off with their heads.”
