There have been a surprising number of Kit Kat flavors released around the world. And while we may not have them all here in the U.S., these are 10 of the best and most unique flavors out there.

If you love Kit Kat bars as much as we do, then you probably already know that there are a lot of flavors out there in the world. And when we say a lot, we really mean it.

Unsurprisingly, with so many flavors on the market it makes sense that sites like PopSugar would want to rank them. For us, it is about finding some of the more unique flavors out there. And luckily, with a friend in Japan who has sent me a few different Kit Kat bars to try, as well as a World Market nearby that sells a variety of different flavors, I couldn’t resist  putting together a list of 10 of the more unique and delicious flavors that I have tried.

What this means is that there definitely won’t be regular milk chocolate Kit Kat bars on this list, instead, you might find some new flavors to fall in love with. And if you are lucky enough to have a store like World Market near you, then you might be able to find some of these flavors for yourself.

1. Green Tea Kit Kat

I wrote about the Green Tea Kit Kat for Guilty Eats in the past. At the time, I talked about it as an oddly satisfying sweet treat, and that still holds true. As a fan of green tea and matcha, this is the kind of Kit Kat bar that satisfies a lot of cravings. And if you can get your hands on this one (and you love matcha), then this is definitely the candy bar for you.

2. Lemon Drizzle Kit Kat

Okay, so this is one of the bars I found at World Market the other day and when I got home I learned that this was a special release in the U.K. that was inspired by the lemon drizzle cake. As a fan of lemon, this was a definite winner in my book. And this was definitely a flavor to pick up again, as it really does remind you of a piece of lemon cake.

3. New York Cheesecake Chunky Kit Kat

If you love cheesecake then this is definitely the Kit Kat for you. With every bite, it is like biting into a piece of cheesecake with chocolate (as we are definitely okay with this combination). Seriously, this might be a real guilty pleasure when it comes to candy bars, as it reminds me of both the decadent dessert and a standard Kit Kat bar.

4. Cranberry Almond Kit Kat

With its combination of rich cranberries, decadent dark chocolate, and almonds, this might just be more than just a unique flavor. This is the perfect flavor for fall, and yet it is great all year-long. I was thrilled to find a bag of these in a store near me, as they are definitely going to be my late night snack when I want a sweet treat with a lot of flavor and crunch in each bite.

5. Cookies & Cream Kit Kat

If you love cookies and cream (and I don’t know too many people who don’t), then this is definitely the Kit Kat for you. Not only does every bite give you that creamy flavor with the cookie, but you also have your crisp wafer too. It really is the best of all worlds when it comes to a sweet treat. And it will definitely satisfy any cravings you may be having too.

6. Azuki Bean Kit Kat

This Japanese flavor was an unexpected treat in a lot of ways. I didn’t know what this one would taste like, but the fact that it reminded me of a creamy peanut butter flavor definitely made it a winner. If you can get your hands on this variety, you will definitely want to give it a try.

7. Lemon Kit Kat

I know there is already a lemon variety of Kit Kat on this list, but I really do love lemon and after getting one of these bars from Japan, I feel like it deserves attention all on its own. This had such a creamy taste and really won me over with how amazing it was. And the fact that it was a gift from a friend, certainly added to the magic of this bar. If you love lemon (and have a chance to try this one), I definitely recommend it.

8. Strawberry Cheesecake

This was another flavor I got from my friend in Japan and I swear I savored every single bite. The cheesecake comes through with the strawberry, making it taste like I was eating an actual cheesecake. And with that crisp wafer, it really did have everything you needed to think you were eating the inspiration dessert.

9. Beni Imo Kit Kat

Another Japanese variety, this is a purple sweet potato flavor of Kit Kat. And while that may not sound like a candy bar you would fall in love with, once you try it you will change your mind. There is a lot to love about this flavor. It has just the right amount of sweetness without being too much, and that is always important. (As an added bonus it is a lovely color of light purple too.)

10. Raspberry Kit Kat

My question is why can’t we have this flavor here in the U.S.? The Raspberry flavor is another one found in Japan and if you love raspberries this is going to become your favorite Kit Kat ever. The tart, freshness of the fruit comes through in every bite and if that doesn’t make you want this candy bar, I don’t know what will.

Have you tried any of these Kit Kat flavors? Which was your favorite? Are there any flavors we should have added to our list? Tell us what you think in the comments.
