Baskin-Robbins is ringing 2020 in with a sweet take on January that includes their latest flavor of the month

 Baskin-Robbins has decided to kick off 2020 with the perfect amount of sweetness. From their flavor of the month for January to NFL team cakes, this is a tasty month.

When it comes to finding uniquely delicious flavors of ice cream, Baskin-Robbins knows how to deliver. And in January, they are kicking 2020 off with a delicious bang.

Not only do we have a new sweet and salty flavor of the month to enjoy, but they are also offering customizable NFL team cakes and even doing one of our favorite traditions from the ice cream shop, the Celebrate 31.

First up, let’s talk about the flavor of the month for January. In a press release from Baskin-Robbins, they revealed that this month’s ice cream is the Salted Almond Honeycomb. And if that doesn’t sound delicious without a description, I don’t know what does.

With a major focus on flavor, the January flavor of the month features a honey base that is both floral and sweet. Then pieces of honeycomb are added to the mix, along with a swirl of sweet almond marzipan. Not only does this help give the ice cream its blend of sweet and salty, but it also helps to give it a crunch that works perfectly with the smoothness of the perfectly churned ice cream.

According to the director of research and development for Baskin-Robbins, Jeanne Bolger, “Almond and honey is a flavor combination that goes together beautifully in baked goods, especially in cakes. For January’s Flavor of the Month, we wanted to give our guests the opportunity to savor this unexpected ‘flavor duo’ in a scoop of our ice cream.”

Seriously, this sounds like the perfect scoop of ice cream in my book. And the fact that it is the flavor of the month makes it an absolute must try.

However, it is not just the flavor of the month that has Baskin-Robbins ringing in 2020 in style. There is also the fact that they are offering customizable NFL team cakes. This might just be the perfect way to party with friends and watch a game on Sunday – with ice cream cake.

And finally, Baskin-Robbins is ending January with their Celebrate 31. On January 3, select locations will offer up scoops of their different flavors for just $1.70. And that’s not all, as they will be offering two pre-packed quarts for just $7.99.
