Which fast food restaurants are open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2020?
By Sandy C.
With schools closed and several off work today, you must be wondering if a few fast food restaurants are also not open for business on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Here’s what we know!
We all love taking some time to honor such an important part of history. Martin Luther King Jr. was a true hero and was gone before his time. Today is an American federal holiday to celebrate and observe Martin Luther King Jr. and takes places the third Monday of January. But you have to wonder, which fast food restaurants are open today?
Many fast food joints close their doors on Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Thanksgiving, but what about on Martin Luther King Jr. day? My foodie friends, you’ll be happy to learn that on this day, all of your favorite fast food places are open for business! This includes all grocery stores, as well.
That’s right, as important as the holiday is, no restaurant is closed. Many locations aren’t even closed for Christmas or New Year’s Day. Starbucks, for example, was open both holidays. Different hours, sure, but still operating. So, for Martin Luther King Jr. day, they’ll definitely be around for your coffee needs.
Are you happy to learn that you can stop by at the place of your choosing for your favorite burger, corn dog, or drink? Something else that is not only open as usual, but very popular on this day, are movie theaters.
With many off school and work, going to the movies is very common. Will you be making a trip to your local theater to catch one of the latest films available? What are your plans for the day?
