Häagen-Dazs is bringing the ruby love with their new ice cream bars featuring Ruby Cacao
Häagen-Dazs is ready for the season of love thanks to a little bit of ruby – a little Ruby Cacao that is. Ice cream lovers now have two new ice cream bars to try featuring this amazing cacao product.
Move over Milk and Dark Chocolate, there is a new flavor in town for Häagen-Dazs and it is all about the ruby – the Ruby Cacao that is.
That’s right, the Ruby Cacao is the new flavor of the season and it comes just in time for Valentine’s Day. And what a flavor it is! This is a bean that gives a rich flavor of “intense berry fruitiness,” while also delivering some fresh but sour notes. And yes, it really does produce that lovely ruby color, all without being manipulated or having anything added to the bean.
In a press release from Häagen-Dazs they revealed the release of two new delicious ice cream products that will use the Ruby Cacao as their inspiration. Up first there is the Ruby Cacao ice cream bars, which are sweet cream ice cream bars that are enrobed in a shell of the Ruby Cacao.
The second product announced is the Ruby Cacao Crackle Trio Crispy Layers. This product gives you layers of ruby cacao mixed into a blend of Häagen-Dazs’ sweet cream ice cream and Pistachio ice cream.
Basically this is ruby heaven in ice cream form, and it is coming to stores now through Sept. 1. Plus, starting on Feb. 1, customers of Häagen-Dazs Shops will be able to get dipped cones and bars, as well as Sundaes featuring the Ruby Cacao.
As an ice cream lover, this all very exciting news. Not only is this a new flavor profile to fall in love with, but it is coming from Häagen-Dazs, which always delivers top quality ice cream.
I can’t wait to give these new ice cream products a try, and to finally get a taste of this new cacao bean. As a berry lover too, this is the kind of find that my taste buds will love.
