National Pancake Day: Is IHOP the only place celebrating?
By Sandy C.
Pancake fans around the world are getting ready to eat all the pancakes they can on Feb. 25, National Pancake Day! But is IHOP the only casual restaurant celebrating?
According to our quick research, National Pancake Day is technically on March 12, so why is IHOP celebrating early on Feb. 25? Well, first of all, who are we to complain, am I right? If someone says free pancakes, I am there! That said, yes, IHOP appears to be the only place that is observing Feb. 25 as National Pancake Day. It’s basically their own holiday.
On the bright side, you have March 12 to look forward to as we hope more restaurants (and perhaps even fast food joints) join in and give us some free, delicious pancakes. It’s a win-win. We’ll be sure to keep you posted! In the meantime, here’s what you can enjoy at IHOP on Feb. 25:
Stop by your local IHOP to enjoy a FREE short stack of the breakfast (and brunch) restaurant’s popular buttermilk pancakes. This will be available dine-in only and at participating locations, which is just about all IHOP’s, from 7 a.m. to . 7 p.m. Don’t miss out!
Will you be stopping by IHOP on Feb. 25 to celebrate their holiday with them? How can we say no? We can order our favorite menu item with a FREE side of short stack pancakes! And don’t forget your favorite drink. The restaurant may have all sorts of tasty milkshakes and fruity drinks, but my favorite is their vanilla iced coffee, it goes very well with pancakes.
