Coronavirus fears continue to change our daily lives more and more each day. Now, Starbucks is no longer allowing personal cups at any location to help stop the spread.

One can never be too safe when it comes to an illness! This is especially true when we are talking about a new disease that is still being figured out. The fast food world is being as safe as possible, and many locations near the most-affected areas have even been shut down while we take control of this mess. Starbucks is also doing their part by temporarily no longer accepting personal cups.

In case you’ve been in the dark about this, Starbucks allows customers to bring in their reusable, personal mug or cups. Not only does this help the environment, but Starbucks gives you a small discount, too. It’s a win-win. However, now that the virus outbreak is growing, the coffee chain has announced that they are “temporarily stopping the use of reusable, personal mugs in stores,” USA Today reports.

This shouldn’t discourage anyone from going to Starbucks, especially with the delicious drinks they recently added to their menu! Just be prepared to be told that you can’t use your own mug or cup.

Some of our favorite new drinks are:

  • Green Iced Pineapple Matcha
  • Yellow Iced Golden Ginger

The above are the latest additions that are sure to set your spring mood! Read more about them HERE. There’s also the secret menu drink that tastes just like chocolate covered strawberries. Though it’s complicated to make (sorry to all baristas out there!), it’s worth the taste!

Finally, there’s the Orange Drink and Pink Drink, which are possibly the most popular drinks from Starbucks so far this year.
