The Challenge’s Johnny Bananas is officially part of the Food Network family now as he joins Worst Cooks

The latest batch of celebrities has been announced for the next season of Food Network’s Worst Cooks. And fans of The Challenge can expect to see Johnny Bananas in the kitchen.

If you are a fan of MTV’s The Challenge, then you know exactly who Johnny Bananas is. Over the years, Bananas has proven that he can be a beast when it comes to physical competitions, but now it’s time to see how he handles a cooking competition.

In posts shared to both his Twitter and Instagram accounts, Johnny Bananas shared the news of his participation in one of the crazier cooking shows on the Food Network. Rather than pulling together some of the best chefs in the country or even amazing home cooks, Worst Cooks is all about bringing together a group of people who are seriously lacking in the cooking department.

As a fan of Bananas (and obviously I don’t mean the fruit), I can’t wait to see him in action on Worst Cooks. And while he may be a champion on The Challenge, it should be interesting to see how he does in the kitchen, after all, this is a show about people who really can’t cook.

Other celebrities joining Johnny Bananas on this season of Worst Cooks include Full House star Dave Coulier, actress Robin Givens, and Bachelor in Paradise‘s Wells Adams.

This new season of Celebrity Worst Cooks is set to premiere on May 10 at 9 P.M. ET, and will see celebrities fighting for a chance at $25,000 for a charity of their choice. Not only will they hopefully learn some new skills in the kitchen, but the winner will ultimately walk away with some bragging rights as well.

And with Johnny Bananas on the show, I’m excited to see what kinds of shenanigans this MTV star can get up to. Whether he is on team Anne Burrell or team Tyler Florence, it will be interesting to see how he does as cooking show competitor.
