With an invitation, mothers from all around will be able to connect with their loved ones through Facebook Messenger this Mother’s Day Weekend over a nice bucket of classic KFC fried chicken!

KFC is yet another restaurant that is truly doing all that they can to make it easier for families to order food and be able to spend time as a family any way that they can. Well, Mother’s Day is certainly no exception.

KFC is cooking up their virtual Mother’s Day experience through Facebook Messenger where people will be able to connect with their families on Mother’s Day, if they are unable to celebrate in person with one another.

Right now, holidays are going to be very different for a while. KFC doesn’t want Mother’s Day to feel any different this year, given the current circumstances, so they are going above and beyond to, essentially, create this virtual video chat dining experience invitation with your mom to make them feel extra special. In addition, they want all the mothers from all over to feel connected to their loved ones that they aren’t around right now.

Since the early 1950’s, KFC has been bringing families together on Mother’s Day with a bucket of fried chicken, and this year should be no different. Without leaving the comfort of your own home, here’s how you can get involved with this virtual Mother’s Day experience with KFC:

"Beginning May 1, families and friends can visit KFC’s Facebook page to send their loved ones a custom invitation to share a Mother’s Day meal together, virtually. Through this unique and simple, one-stop experience, users can interact with the Colonel himself to coordinate a meal time, personalize their invitation with mom’s name and a family photo, and receive fun reminders to connect with mom via Messenger video chat on Mother’s Day. With eight users visible at a time and endless sticker selections and effects, the Messenger experience is the one-click video chat everyone can enjoy."

If you’re interested in participating in this cool Mother’s Day holiday experience, visit KFC’s Facebook page and follow instructions going from there and so on.
