Looking for a new recipe to try and bake at home? If you love cinnamon coffee cake, try this delicious and easy Cinnamon Poke Cake that will have you wanting more!

Get your pans ready for this new delicious recipe that will have you wanting to sit on the couch with a fork and call it a night (totally go ahead and do that, I don’t judge as long as I’m invited)! It’s got all of the things that we love about cinnamon rolls, including the classic icing and being served warm. This recipe will have you craving it at all hours of the day, night, whatever.

Are you unfamiliar with what poke cake is? Here’s what Quora had to say all about it:

"Poke cake is a cake that you poke holes in after baking. The holes are then filled with a liquid or filling — like condensed milk, pureed fruit, chocolate cream, or pudding to infuse extra flavor in each bite."

Okay, so correct me if I’m wrong, but without even reading the recipe to this Cinnamon Poke Cake yet, the description of poke cake alone makes my mouth water and my mind wondering why I haven’t tried or attempted to bake a poke cake just yet! Hmm.

If you look at this official recipe here, you’ll see that the ingredients list may be quite long. However, the instructions seem super easy to follow (which is always a good thing to have at hand here).

The prep time is pretty short, and the total time with prep and cooking included only takes just under two hours, which sounds perfect. You can get it all in the oven, then go do something around the house, get some work or homework done, and before you know it, the cake is done (or gone).
