Ice cream is a treat loved by everyone year round! If you thought making fried ice cream would be difficult, think again! It’s easier than you might think and we’re here to teach you how!

Ice cream is something that never gets boring! There’s always fun ingredients to mix in, sprinkle on top, and whatever else you might do with ice cream! If you have ever seen or tasted fried ice cream, you know that it’s one of the most delicious creations.

You may believe making fried ice cream is difficult to make. It’s a process, but Delish has come up with an easy way to make it, and it’s delicious!

If you want to make fried ice cream, but don’t want to go through all of those steps, Delish said, skip all the frying and coating and a million steps as they’re unnecessary to get the actual taste of the fried ice cream itself. How do you do that, you may be asking yourself?

Take some cornflake-based cereal and crumble it up, and toast it in a pan with some butter, cinnamon, and sugar. After than, make balls of scoops of your favorite ice creams and freeze on a tray for about an hour or so.

Once the ice cream balls are nice and frozen solid, simply coat them and roll them around in the seasoned corn flake cereal, top with your favorite ice cream toppings, and viola! Done!

Seems easy enough right? If you’re still wanting to actually fry the ice cream just so you can say you’ve tried it once, try this delicious recipe that I found online as well: Fried Ice Cream Recipe (Courtesy of AllRecipes.com).

If you’re looking to find a restaurant that serves fried ice cream, in my opinion, Shakou serves simply the best. While you might not be able to order it to-go right now and at this moment, it’s definitely worth the wait until the world’s craziness all settles down!
