Scoob! is now on VOD and fans are loving the nostalgia it brings, but foodies also took note of an interesting ice cream recipe Scooby and Shaggy create.

Fans who have watched Scoob! on Video on Demand are divided. Some truly enjoyed it, while others not so much. How do you feel about the return of Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. crew? Whether you love it or don’t, you likely remember the scene in which Scooby and Shaggy prepare a strange ice cream recipe for Blue Falcon.

If you haven’t watch Scoob! rest assured that there are no spoilers ahead!

Scooby and Shaggy are Mystery Inc.’s foodies! They may not help much when it comes to the gang’s mysteries, and they aren’t the muscle in the crew, either. But they do keep everyone fed. In one scene where the duo isn’t around, Daphne points out how hungry they are because Shaggy and Scooby aren’t there to prepare their delicious sandwiches.

Shaggy and his best pal aren’t only sandwich experts, though, they apparently also come up with their own recipes! When they prepare a snack for Blue Falcon, they give him ice cream…with jalapenos. Strange or genius?

When Blue Falcon questions this recipe, Shaggy tells him that it’s sweet and spicy, the perfect treat. Now, I would  be lying if I said I don’t love to indulge in spicy chips right after having something sweet (and vice versa), so Shaggy may be on to something here!

The next time we serve ourselves a bowl of ice cream, we’ll throw in some spice in there to see what we think. We’ll get back to you!

What do you think about this ice cream recipe treat? Do you agree with Shaggy in that spicy and sweet snacks are the perfect combo or do you prefer keeping these separate?
