Dr Pepper has stepped up in a big way to help give back to restaurant industry employees during COVID-19. Here’s how you can help!
The fast food and restaurant industry has been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Dr Pepper has stepped up in a big way, and you can help, too! Here’s how.
The restaurant business is slowly picking up in some places, but, for the most, part, everything but to-go and delivery is still shut down. A press release from Dr Pepper shares that over 8 million restaurant employees have been laid off or furlough since COVID-19 hit.
To help, Keurig Dr Pepper has donated $250,000 to the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NRAEG) Employee Relief Fund. This will give funds and cash grants to restaurant workers in need at a time when they need it most.

Want to help? Dr Pepper is making it very easy and simple for others to help continue their efforts. The brand has unveiled a new spin on its popular “I’m a Pepper” t-shirt, changing it to “We’re a Pepper,” so show how we are all in this together.
The shirts debuted in late April and are available HERE for $30, keep in mind that 100% of all profits go directly to the NRAEG Employee Relief Fund. This is a limited-edition t-shirt that will only be available while supplies last.
Will you be purchasing some of one of these shirts? Do you know someone in the restaurant business who has been impacted by COVID-19?
