Ben & Jerry’s: The top 5 flavors of all time
5. Ben & Jerry’s: Cannoli
While Cannoli is not a new flavor, it’s new to me, as of a few months ago. This flavor is mascarpone-flavored ice cream with some chocolate fudge-covered pastry shell pieces, all swirled together with some more sweet mascarpone cream.
Although this flavor is labeled as Cannoli, I really don’t think that it tastes like one, although it’s still very good. The best part about it is the chocolate fudge-covered pieces of cannoli shell!
Overall, I’d give Ben & Jerry’s Cannoli a solid 6.7 out of 10.
Again, it’s not a bad flavor; I just wish that it tasted like an actual cannoli. Maybe they should’ve just straight up blended a cannoli right into the ice cream, chocolate chips, pistachios, and everything.
4. Ben & Jerry’s: The Tonight Dough
This flavor is inspired by Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show and combines both caramel and chocolate ice creams. What’s mixed inside of this particular flavor is exactly what edges it just above cannoli and not behind it…
Mixed into this already delicious flavor is chocolate cookie pieces, “gobs” of both chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter cookie dough. In all honesty, this is every cookie dough lovers’ dream, and I couldn’t be happier each time I have this (which hasn’t been in a long while).
Overall, I’d give Ben & Jerry’s The Tonight Dough a solid 7.1 out of 10.
If you love cookie dough and that subtle peanut butter taste that’s just totally out of this world, then pick yourself up a pint next time you’re out shopping!
