El Pollo Loco is celebrating dads for Father’s Day
June 21 may be Father’s Day, but El Pollo Loco is celebrating all week long leading up to dad’s big day. And how are they doing this? By offering a week long giveaway of course.
In a press release from El Pollo Loco, we learned that starting on June 12, the company kicked off a community contest where people can nominate a dad who deserves to be honored, while also talking about why they are a true master of the grill. The person nominating a deserving dad needs to tag the company’s Instagram account in their post.
Winning dads will be chosen at random, to win an assortment of prizes, including one winner who will get the ultimate grilling prize.
What is El Pollo Loco giving away to one lucky dad?
One lucky dad is going to be rewarded with a chance to not only be a master of their grill at home, but learn some tricks and tips from El Pollo Loco’s top Grill Master!
The ultimate dad who wins the grand prize will get “a custom outdoor Imperial Grill and an exclusive, virtual one-on-one lesson on the art of cooking the perfect pollo from our top Grill Master.” They will even learn some of the ways the company makes their signature marinades as well as learn how to cook a family dinner that is worthy of the El Pollo Loco kitchens.
Of course, even if your dad isn’t a winner of the El Pollo Loco giveaway, that doesn’t mean you can’t treat him right with the help of the restaurant. The chain is offering a special $20 Familia Dinner that you can pick up to surprise your dad with so that he is getting the night off for a change. Or, if you have something else planned, why not give him a gift card for later?
We are here for this kind of treat for dad. After all, we agree that we need to give dad some love and attention on Father’s Day. And if that means helping him get his grill on, then we are here for that!
