Krispy Kreme bringing peach pies to grocery stores this summer

Krispy Kreme is most well-known for their donuts, but they might be looking to change that. They recently introduced peach pies you can buy at your grocery store. That’s right! You don’t even have to head to your local Krispy Kreme shop; you can get them at any supermarket near you.

These aren’t like the normal pies you might be thinking of. This isn’t the pie your mom or grandma makes. These peach pies are like the kind you find at McDonald’s or Hostess. They’re more hand pies or turnover that you can take with you on the go versus a pie you would cut into slices.

The inside is a peach pie filling and of course, the pie is given the Krispy Kreme makeover and covered with their signature glaze.

But because these are seasonal due to the peach filling, they’re limited edition and won’t be around for long. So if you end up trying and loving them, you need to stock up! They probably won’t be around past the summer season.

When fall hits, they’ll most likely be taken from the shelves and replaced with whatever the new pumpkin-related thing is. Maybe Krispy Kreme will come out with a pumpkin pie version?

My favorite part of these new pies are that the picture on the box does not make them look appetizing whatsoever and that they felt they needed to put “made with real fruit” across the top of the box. Isn’t it great that we live in a world where that needs to be said? But it does give the impression that the pies aren’t just filled with peach jelly. You’ll actually get pieces of peach in every bite.

The fact that they are covered in Krispy Kreme glaze is honestly the only thing I need to know. If a donut tastes that good with the glaze, I’m sure a pie will too.

According to FoodyMomma, you can find these peach pies at your local Kroger and Walmart for only $2 a box.

But these aren’t the only Krispy Kreme products you can find at your local grocery store. Krispy Kreme also sells some of their other donuts, including a limited-edition strawberry crueller, as well as their coffee at the grocery store.
