Friendly’s has a S’mores shake that is not getting nearly enough love
Friendly’s is making summer fun with this S’mores shake
If there is one treat that seems to scream summer, it would have to be s’mores. There is something about this combination of fire toasted marshmallow, graham crackers, and melted chocolate that just seems to work as a summer snack. But what if you could get this flavor as part of an epic milkshake at Friendly’s?
If you are anything like me, then you love ice cream and milkshakes. They are a summer favorite, right alongside the epic s’mores. So, what better way to enjoy these flavors than by combining them?
As someone who grew up going to Friendly’s, I know that they have some great offerings when it comes to their ice cream menu. But even I was surprised to learn about their S’mores Monster Shake!
Friendly’s went all out with their S’mores shake
According to Delish, the S’mores Monster Shake was originally introduced in 2019, but it wasn’t exactly given the heroes welcome it deserved. In fact, I didn’t even know it was on the menu until now.
Maybe I missed the email from the restaurant, but I can’t believe I didn’t know about this monster sooner.
What makes the S’mores Monster Shake so epic is the fact that this is not your typical milkshake. This thing starts off with white frosting coating the upper rim of the glass (and not just a small coating either). It is then rolled in crushed graham crackers so that the rim is covered in icing and graham crackers.
At the bottom of the glass, Friendly’s layers in broken pieces of graham cracker, as well as marshmallow and hot fudge. On top of that comes the S’mores flavored milkshake. The shake is then topped with a graham cracker, a mini chocolate cake (YES! it has an entire mini cake on top), marshmallows, hot fudge, whipped cream, another cracker, and even crumbs.
Seriously, they weren’t kidding when they added monster to the name.
This thing is a meal, not just a shake. And it sounds and looks every bit as epic as we could have hoped for. Honestly, you may need a milkshake partner to get through this one, and I’m okay with that.
If you love s’mores and milkshakes, this is definitely a must try. And considering this is a Friendly’s creation, we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
