Krispy Kreme has brought back three Reese’s doughnuts and one will stay

Krispy Kreme is giving us Reese’s dreams this summer

Reese’s lovers rejoice! Krispy Kreme is bringing back three of their fan favorite doughnuts inspired by our favorite peanut butter and chocolate treats. And that’s not the only exciting announcement, as they are planning to make one of these doughnuts part of their permanent menu!

According to a press release from Krispy Kreme, starting on July 24, customers can snag three classic Reese’s doughnuts flavors. But that’s not the most exciting thing, as it is up to the customers to determine which flavor gets to stick around.

In order to find the “Greataste Reese’s Doughnut of All Time” customers will be tasked with hitting up social media to share the most unique reviews of their favorite flavor of doughnut. This is your chance to show off your skills and talents, while also letting Krispy Kreme know which doughnut you want to have added to the permanent menu.

Which Reese’s doughnuts flavors did Krispy Kreme bring back?

So, which doughnuts are we getting to vote on? The three flavors that have come back to your local Krispy Kreme are:

• Classic Reese’s Doughnut – According to Chew Boom, this is a shell doughnut that is then filled with Reese’s Peanut Butter Kreme. They have a Hershey’s chocolate icing on top and it is then topped with pieces of peanut butter chips and a drizzle of chocolate and peanut butter sauce. (Yum, right?!)
• Reese’s Outrageous Doughnut – This particular doughnut is a chocolate yeast doughnut that is dipped in a chocolate icing and then topped with mini Reese’s pieces and drizzles of peanut butter icing and salted caramel. (Also yum!)
• Reese’s Original Filled Chocolate Lovers Doughnut – Once again, this doughnut features the chocolate yeast, although this one is then filled with the Reese’s Peanut Butter Kreme (like the classic), which is then dipped in a chocolate icing. This is then decorated using peanut butter icing. (No, really… yum!)

Basically, these are doughnuts designed for Reese’s lovers and we are here for their return! Seriously, I would be okay with any of these doughnuts remaining on the Krispy Kreme menu permanently.
