Wiz Khalifa is bringing HotBox by Wiz to homes in several markets

Wiz Khalifa is already known for his music and has spent the past several years expanding his brand and entrepreneurship entities. In fact, he has already partnered with Primanti Bros. for a “Black and Yellow” limited availability sandwich last summer, and now Khalifa is throwing himself fully into the food space with his latest venture. Wiz Khalifa has partnered with Nextbite to create and launch a delivery-only restaurant called HotBox by Wiz.

According to Billboard, HotBox by Wiz will be open for business beginning on October 1st. The delivery-only concept will initially be available in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Washington D.C., Chicago, Indianapolis, Houston, and New York City. There are plans to continue to expand to additional cities based on monthly voting.

Since the restaurants will only be by delivery and cannot be entered, fulfillment will be made by local restaurants in the previously mentioned cities. The local restaurant owners can apply online to become a Nextbite fulfillment partner and if approved, they would cook the menu items upon order. Postmates, UberEats, Doordash, and GrubHub have all agreed to host the menu and take orders for delivery.

The HotBox by Wiz menu has been curated by Khalifa himself and has mainly been inspired by some of his personal food favorites. Items have been clever names based mainly on his songs or terms he has used over the years or names referencing smoking marijuana. There are items such as the Blazed Ends which are burnt brisket ends in a smoky and sweet BBQ sauce. There’s also the Taylor Gang Turkey Burger which along with a turkey burger patty also includes sliced tomato, sliced onions, and is served with a side of Chip Hits.

If you want to be more indulgent, you can have the Mac & Yellow macaroni and cheese which features an extra layer of cheese on top. You can finish any meal off with the Mile High Dark Chocolate Brownie. Maybe you can add some ice cream or if you have them, you can add some of your own edible bite-sized chocolate covered cookie dough bites to the dessert.

Although the current menu features Khalifa’s favorites and has a “Midwest family favorites with 420/rap flair,” it will be changing over time. We should see a menu evolution with the new additions in the near future. Along with taking votes for cities to next expand to, HotBox by Wiz will also be taking feedback and votes for future menu items.
