The Great British Baking Show’s new season first look has arrived!

Bring on the baking and friendly competition! The Great British Baking Show has dropped its first trailer for the new season, along with a Netflix premiere date that is a lot sooner than we could have expected.

If there is one thing that could take 2020 and make it better, it might be watching a bunch of British home bakers competing against each other on The Great British Baking Show (also known as The Great British Bake Off in the U.K.). And while we recently learned that the series would be premiering on Channel 4 in the U.K. on Sept. 22, we weren’t sure when we in the U.S. would get this magic.

Well now we know and we could not be more excited!

The Great British Baking Show premieres on Netflix on Sept. 25

Not only did we get a trailer for the new season, but we also have a Netflix premiere date. And it looks like we won’t have to wait long! Three days after the season premieres in the U.K., we in the U.S. will be able to watch the first episode on Netflix.

And that’s not all, as every week we will get a brand new episode! That’s right, three days after a new episode airs in the U.K. it will drop on Netflix. I guess what we know what we are going to be doing on Friday nights now!

Of course, we also have an exciting trailer to enjoy while we wait (not that we have to wait too long anymore!) for the season premiere here in the U.S. And when I say that this season looks to be just as much fun as every other year, I am not exaggerating in the least.

While we may have lost one of our hosts when Sandy left at the end of the 10th season, with the addition of Matt Lucas, we are getting just as much fun and humor as we have had in the past. In fact, it almost looks like things may be even more crazy in the tent than ever before.

From cakes falling apart and comments like “you’re not supposed to laugh,” Season 11 looks to be the kind of fun we need in our lives. We may be here for the baking and creations, but we are also looking forward to the humor and drama of a stressful bake too.
