Jolly Rancher and New Balance are bringing color to Halloween

Jolly Rancher and New Balance have teamed up for a new and colorful promotion.

New Balance and Jolly Rancher have paired up for a promotional line of New Balance footwear featuring Jolly Rancher flavor inspired designs. The new products will launch at some time in October. The most prominent new designs will be featured on New Balance’s headlining KAWHI line of sneakers. The new line is being named the “Jolly Rancher Collection” and I could not be more excited.

Like myself, NBA star Kawhi Leonard was a fan of the candy while growing up. According to Hype Beast, New Balance will use the Jolly Rancher “Original Flavor” for the color patterns on the KAWHI sneaker and their 480 sneakers. There are sneakers set to debut in “Blue Raspberry” inspired colors. Both sets are as vivid as the candy itself.

For the KAWHI sneakers, the tongue features the Jolly Rancher Gang fruit characters all displaying the deadpan face Leonard has become infamous for. There is also a t-shirt to be released with the same facial expressions on the Jolly Rancher Gang.

Jolly Rancher sneakers already had their exclusive debut during NBA games.

Leonard debuted the sneakers during his team’s NBA Western Conference semifinals loss during the past week. Although the games did not go the way he would like, the sneakers were prominent with their bright colors and translucent material. Along with the KAWHI sneakers, the collection will also include New Balance’s 327 sneaker and their 480 low sneakers. There will also be sports slide sandals available as well.

The new Jolly Rancher Collection is currently set to be released just in time for Halloween in late October. Prices will range from $35 for the slides up to $160 for the KAWHI signature sneakers. The Blue Raspberry colored sneakers are set to be sold exclusively at New Balance and Foot Locker stores.
