Ortega launches Taco Pizza Kit, Cauliflower and Corn Taco Shells and more

Ortega has released a line of healthy, yet tasty, products and we’re all about them

Guilty Eats loves it when a new product launches that leans towards the healthy side without sacrificing flavor. I review these new Ortega products, below!

Here at Guilty Eats, we may be all about, well, guilty eats! Sure, fast food and snacks are our favorite, but you can’t be a true foodie if you aren’t willing to sample all products. This includes those that are organic and healthy.

That said, if a product is tasty enough to where we don’t feel good flavor is sacrificed, we’re all about it! Because really, who wants a bland taco shell? Tacos should taste like tacos, the same goes for pizza and all other meals. And Ortega’s new products deliver.

Earlier this month, Ortega shipped my way their new Ortega Cauliflower & Corn Taco Shells, Taco Pizza Kit, Cauliflower & Flour Tortillas, and Street Taco Sauces in the flavors Asada 3 Chile and Garlic, Tinga Chipotle Tomato Habanero, and Mojo Chile Lime.

Review: New Ortega products

All of the products discussed here are available in stores now. My favorite are the Cauliflower & Flour Tortillas, and it’s the product I was least expecting to enjoy! These are huge! And you know what that means, the more tortilla, the more meat and ingredients that fit in.

The Taco Pizza Kit is thick and different, whether it’s a bad or good different will be up to you individual taste buds! For me, it’s all good. Pack the pizza pie with the toppings of your choice, stick it in the oven for 20 minutes (or less, it took about 20 for me) and enjoy!

The Cauliflower & Corn Taco Shells are also great! And from the sauces, my favorite is the Mojo Chile Lime, because I love adding lime to just about everything and the Mojo Chili Lime sauce from Ortega gets it just right.
