Hormel’s new chili has two of the hottest peppers you can get your hands on

As fall has quickly ascended upon us and temperatures continue to fall, one thing is certain. Chili season is now here and ready for those looking for a bowl. Who doesn’t enjoy a nice warm bowl when the weather outside is not at its peak?

We’ve already made our first batch in my house, but if you do not enjoy making it yourself, Hormel has you covered. As reported by Chewboom, Hormel has a new Ghost Reaper Chili with Beans sure to set your tongue and insides on fire.

If you like your chili on the spicy side as I do, the new Hormel Ghost Reaper Chili with Beans is definitely a must-try. Hormel is calling it the hottest canned chili in the world and it is easy to see why. Pack your courage and maybe some tissues and either sour cream or cheese to top or a glass of milk to help tame some of the heat coming out of your can.

For the Ghost Reaper Chili, Hormel didn’t just stop at one extra spicy pepper. Instead, they are giving us two. Both the ghost pepper and Carolina reaper peppers register at hundreds of times hotter than jalapeno peppers.

The ghost pepper registers at 855,000 Scoville heat units while the Carolina reaper comes in at a whopping 2.2 million. The Carolina reaper is considered the world’s hottest pepper and the ghost pepper is no slouch either.

Hormel’s new Ghost Reaper Chili with Beans should be enjoyed responsibly

The peppers are folded into Hormel’s normal beef and bean chili recipe to produce a can of straight fire. Hormel recommends eating one spoonful at a time to judge the heat. I definitely would recommend some cornbread to help with the inferno sure to result in your mouth. This is definitely not for those who oppose spicy foods and Hormel recommends keeping it away from pets and children.

You can even compare as Hormel is boasting their limited edition product as at least four times hotter than their traditional variety.
