Red Lobster is introducing a new way to eat salmon with the introduction of the Sesame-Soy Salmon Bowl at certain locations.

It’s a wonder to me why Red Lobster even bothers selling seafood any more. I mean, it’s very good and there is nothing like their Lobster Fest promotion to kick that seafood craving in the teeth. But everyone knows why you go to Red Lobster.

You go there for the the too-good-for-words Cheddar Bay Biscuits. The Holy Grail of restaurant appetizers. Hmmm … biscuits.

Sorry. Where was I? Oh right.

If you still have room left after scarfing down a basket of biscuits, Red Lobster has added a new item to their menu that sounds pretty good. It’s called the Sesame-Soy Salmon Bowl and may be perfect if you’re looking for seafood without all the deep frying.

As reported by Chewboom, the Sesame-Soy Salmon Bowl includes grilled Atlantic salmon on top of brussel sprouts, quinoa rice, mixed greens and edamame topped with crispy onions and a drizzle of soy-ginger sauce. All of which sounds pretty appetizing if you’re trying to maintain a more healthy lifestyle.

The Sesame-Soy Salmon Bowl will set you back about $15 and can be found at Red Lobster locations across the country for a limited time.
