Church’s Chicken has its own entry into the fried chicken war with a new sandwich

Can we have too many fried chicken sandwich options? I really do not think that there is such a thing. According to Chewboom, Church’s Chicken is giving us another option for what can only be called the classic fried chicken sandwich. As the chicken war continues to rage on, our taste buds get to be the true winners.

Church’s Chicken went to great length with the name of its new sandwich. The Church’s Chicken Sandwich is the latest fried chicken sandwich including the known ingredients of fried chicken and pickles. There aren’t too many better things out there and I am happy to see Church’s Chicken giving us another version of this tasty chicken sandwich.

The Church’s Chicken Sandwich includes an all white-meat chicken breast filet which is hand-breaded with Church’s proprietary seasoning along with just a hint of buttermilk. The buttermilk is almost a must-have for a good piece of fried chicken. It’s a great way to keep moisture in the chicken while adding a touch of flavor.

The chicken is fried until a crispy and golden finish. The sandwich is billed with mayo and crispy pickles, but the other real touch comes in with the bun. Church’s is using a brioche bun that has been brushed with honey butter. The combination of the bun, crunchy pickles, mayonnaise, and crispy chicken is one of the best things out there. Put it between a soft brioche bun and you have magic.

Church’s Chicken has a different sandwich option for all of the heat lovers

If you enjoy the spicy side of life as I do, Church’s even has a Spicy Chicken Sandwich version. The difference from the regular sandwich is the addition of spicy mayo sauce instead of traditional mayo. The added option is a great way to add a little kick to your meal.
