Krispy Kreme is celebrating Election Day in their own way

On Nov. 3, many companies are honoring Election Day in their own way. And Krispy Kreme is bringing the sweetness with their own freebie!

According to a press release from Krispy Kreme, anyone who stops into a United States location on Nov. 3 (also known as Election Day) will be eligible for a free doughnut. And there is nothing else you need to do to get that doughnut.

On top of your free original glazed doughnut, they will also be offering “I Voted” stickers that any voter can wear as a way to show their civic pride. Considering it can be hard to snag one of these stickers if you are voting by mail or with the many precautions in place due to the pandemic, Krispy Kreme wants to make sure that you can still share your voting badge.

The Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme, Dave Skena, explained the reason why they decided to offer a free doughnut on the third. And according to him, “If you’re out and about on Election Day, we want to thank you by giving you a free Original Glazed doughnut.”

Of course, if you want to show off your free doughnut, you can always head over to social media and tag them in your pictures. You can also use #KrispyKreme to show off both your free doughnut and your civic pride.
