Aldi is introducing Turkey and Stuffing-Flavored chips

RUESSELSHEIM, GERMANY - APRIL 8: A sign hangs on an Aldi store on April 8, 2013 in Ruesselsheim near Frankfurt, Germany. Aldi, which today is among the world’s most successful discount grocery store chains, will soon mark its 100th anniversary and traces its history back to Karl Albrecht, who began selling baked goods in Essen on April 10, 1913 and founded the Aldi name by shortening the phrase Albrecht Discount. His sons Karl Jr. and Theo expanded the chain dramatically, creating 300 stores by 1960 divided between northern and southern Germany, with Aldi Nord and Aldi Sued, respectively. Today the two chains have approximately 4,300 stores nationwide and have also expanded into other countries across Europe and the USA. Aldi Nord operates in the USA under the name Trader Joe’s. In what can only be called the most unique Thanksgiving tie-in yet, Aldi is bringing us Turkey and Stuffing-Flavored potato chips.

Say what you want about the supermarket chain Aldi, but they are always willing to push the envelope. Especially when it comes to flavors and using those flavors in unique and eyebrow-raising ways.

I mean, this is a store that sold pizzas in the shape of pumpkins for Halloween. Think about that for a second. Can you see Giant selling a product like that? Anyway, Aldi’s latest innovation should have lovers of Thanksgiving either rolling their eyes or dancing in celebration saying “Why didn’t something think of this sooner?”

Aldi is giving us Turkey and Stuffing-Flavored potato chips.

Yes, you read that correctly. Turkey and Stuffing-Flavored potato chips.

According to Delish, the wavy potato chips will be flavored exactly like what you probably plan to serve for Thanksgiving dinner and will be arriving in stores early in November. Most foodies who have heard about the chips are already trying to come up with creative ways to use them other than eating them straight out of the bag.

Mix them with your stuffing? Sure! Maybe crumble some up and put them on the top of that green bean casserole? Definitely! And it goes without saying that they sound like they would go perfectly with some French onion dip while watching the football game.

As mentioned above Aldi’s Turkey and Stuffing-Flavored potato chips will be available probably as you are reading this and will retail for #1.69 a bag, which is a steal if we’re being honest with you.
