Jack in the Box is giving a test run to an extreme makeover of their popular Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges in San Diego.

Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges. There is literally nothing in that sentence that could possibly be considered a bad thing. Which is something Jack in the Box is very aware of. I mean, you had me at “bacon” but add cheese and potatoes and I’m a pretty happy guy.

The Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges have already proven to be a popular item at Jack in the Box. People can never seem to get enough. However, what if the fast food chain wanted to take their potato wedges to another level? Maybe something more … extreme?

Say hello to Extreme Bacon Cheddar Loaded Wedges.

More from Fast Food

It is being reported by Chewboom that Jack in the Box has decided that the Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges aren’t good enough. That they could be so much more. More bacon. More cheese. More everything. Which is why they are now testing Extreme Bacon Cheddar Loaded Wedges.

Extreme Bacon Cheddar Loaded Wedges are essentially the same as their Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges, but kicked up to eleven. Add in more cheddar cheese and an even more heaping helping of bacon to the already tasty wedges and you can see why they are calling these extreme.

The only problem? The Extreme Bacon Cheddar Loaded Wedges are currently only available in select San Diego locations in what is being called a test run. Why you would have to test these are a mystery to me. Seriously. Bacon, cheese, fried potatoes, who wouldn’t eat these?

Hopefully the test will be a success and the rest of the country can head to a Jack in the Box drive-thru soon and go a bit extreme.
