Is McDonald’s open on Thanksgiving Day 2020?
Will McDonald’s be open on Thanksgiving Day?
When it comes to fast food restaurants that seem to be open 365 days of the year, no matter what is happening, McDonald’s leads the pack. So is it any wonder that we want to know whether or not the fast food giant will be open on Thanksgiving Day? (And after the year we have had, we really want to know if they will be open.)
According to Country Living, after speaking to a representative from McDonald’s it seems that the answer is more or less a yes. It seems that with most restaurants being independently owned and operated, it is up to the owner of the location to make the decision. However, it is easy enough to figure out if the location nearest to you is in fact open, as we can check with them for their actual hours.
All that to say that while many locations will in fact be open, just like they normally are, you should still give them a call if you are looking to snag a Big Mac, hot fries, or even an Egg McMuffin on Thanksgiving Day.
McDonald’s is the perfect backup plan this Thanksgiving
I know that many of the McDonald’s locations near me and my family were open, which was nice to at least pick up breakfast before the Turkey dinner. And even in the midst of the pandemic, the fast food chain has managed to keep many of their locations open, which will likely carry over into the holidays.
Whether you are looking to McDonald’s as your dinner on Thanksgiving or as the breakfast destination prior to the big meal, it looks like we will still be able to snag those nuggets or breakfast burritos.
