Taco Bell Seasoning is here and it is versatile
By Justin Piatt
Taco Bell has been getting people to “think outside the bun” for nearly 60 years. Now, get ready to think outside the taco with the arrival of something new and inspiring!
Introducing Taco Bell’s new All-Purpose Seasoning! You read that right: All-Purpose. Capitalized. Hyphenated.
This stuff isn’t just taco seasoning, though Taco Bell has their own brand of that on store shelves as well. (We know, we have used it once or twice.)
According to Delish, they are reporting that this seasoning is meant for virtually anything. Snacks, pizza, meat. We’re guessing it’s not meant for cheesecake, but I won’t judge if you try it.
Why do we need Taco Bell Seasoning?
Why would you even ask that question? Well, since you didn’t and I did, I’ll answer it. In our new-normal of quarantine and a reliance on fast food and delivery, we now can have one of our favorite, craveable flavors in the cupboard, ready to go at a moment’s notice. We naturally still want to support our local restaurants and small businesses, and we’ll still be hitting the old reliable drive-thru, whether we can get a Mexican Pizza or not. But now we don’t have to worry about it, because we can have the taste of a Mexican Pizza on an actual pizza.
I’m very excited for this new product. I’ve been addicted to a generic seasoning sold at Dollar General that has the simple moniker, “Soul Food”. I often combine it with an extra dash of garlic to make that flavor stand out more. I can only rave about this stuff. It’s perfect on everything. It takes French Fries to a new level. It turns rice from a side-dish to a main course. It even makes pork chops enjoyable. Taco Bell’s All-Purpose Seasoning sounds like the type of product that I’ll proudly place on the shelf right next to my treasured “Soul Food” seasoning.
“Shake it on, mix it in, and add the classic Taco Bell flavor you crave to your favorite recipes, snacks and more,” so reads the product description, and we can’t wait to do just that.
