Looking for a sweet treat to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with? Then you will want to make a stop at your local Stop & Shop grocery store.

When it comes to the offerings at the bakeries located in Stop & Shop, we have some favorites. From their croissants (whether we are talking plain, chocolate, cheese, or almond) to their loaves of bread, this is a store that knows how to deliver when it comes to quality and taste. So is it any wonder that we are so excited about the arrival of three baked treats perfect for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with?

In a press email we received about this season’s newest arrivals, we learned that customers can get their hands on a six count of Leprechaun and “Lucky” Cereal Cupcakes, a Bailey’s Irish Cream Cake, or a Guinness Chocolate Stout Cake. And when it comes to those cakes, there are two options to choose from, a full cake or their Individual Slice Loaf Cake.

Now maybe it is me, but I don’t need much more than that to have me ready to run to the nearest Stop & Shop. But, if the titles of the treats alone is not enough to sway you, have no fear, we are ready to describe these goodies in all their sweetened glory.

  • Leprechaun and “Lucky” Cereal Cupcakes – These cupcakes are perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth, as you get either a chocolate or vanilla cupcake that is covered in an old-fashioned icing and topped with “lucky cereal and leprechaun designs.” Each container includes three lucky cupcakes and three leprechaun cupcakes. And at $4.99, you can treat you and a friend or two.
  • Bailey’s Irish Cream Cake – Available for the first time ever at Stop & Shop, this cake actually uses Baileys Irish Cream for a decadent dessert that is rich and creamy. While the individual slice loaf cake will cost you $2.79, the full cake will run you just $7.99. (I know which one I am getting.)
  • Guinness Chocolate Stout Cake – Another first time addition to the Stop & Shop bakery department, this cake is all about the chocolate. Rich, bold, and downright decadent, this cake is inspired by the iconic stout in so many ways, including with the deep chocolate flavors. Just link with the Bailey’s Irish Cream Cake, the individual slice will cost you $2.79, while the full cake will be $7.99.

If you are a fan of sweet treats, you may want to hit up the Stop & Shop bakery while there is time. After all, all three of these desserts are perfect for a solo St. Patrick’s Day celebration or even as a way to bring a little sweetness to others.
