Did Wendy’s get rid of half-salads? We need answers

Want a salad but not a full-size salad? Well, you can no longer count on Wendy’s for these half-salad cravings, and we’re so disappointed! We need answers, Wendy’s!

I love salads, but not a whole salad. I can never finish one. A half-size salad and small fries with one of the refreshing lemonades at Wendy’s is one of my favorite meals! Well, it used to be. And yes, salad with a side of fries. I don’t eat salads for diet reasons, but for the taste. They can be pretty good! And the parmesan caesar salad from Wendy’s is a favorite.

I used to enjoy this several times a month, but the weather has been cold so I had not stopped by the fast food chain in a while for this.

So imagine my disappointment, shock, and sadness when I pulled up at the Wendy’s drive-thru to place my usual order earlier this week only to be told there are no more half-salads.

I frantically read the menu once, then twice, and sure enough, half-size salads are nowhere to be found. Were half-size salads all a dream?

Where have all the Wendy’s half-size salads gone?

No, my foodie friends, we were not dreaming. This is not a glitch in the system. Apparently, these haven’t been on the menu for a while, and we aren’t the only foodies who are upset.

Not only are we upset about half-size salads no longer being available, but there is some debate on the size of the full-size salads. Is the “full-size” salad as big as it used to be? Does it seem smaller to anyone?

To be fair, I’ve only had one full-size salad since learning about the removal of half-size salads, so I can’t be too sure. And I may never know, because I don’t know if I’m interested in a full-size.

Next time, a heads up would be nice! But my big question is why? Why did Wendy’s get rid of them? Did you notice the change? Which salad from the fast food chain is your favorite?
